brighton yoga classes
Welcome to the 3rd installment of Brighton yoga classes blog. I had an interesting conversation last night with a friend who does bikram yoga. The main gist was around yoga being the tool to letting go of the ego and being more connected and present in life. Brighton yoga classes are based on the authentic teachings of patanjali and so during a class in Brighton yoga classes you will find direct reference to listening to your body, connecting with your breath and settling your mind in a peaceful and natural way. Brighton yoga classes are about guiding a person to experiencing for themselves what yoga is all about, being connected and having awareness and waking up to yourself, rather than continuing to be caught up in the habitual stories and patterns of thinking and behaving that the thinking/egoic mind would have us do. The main differences between bikram yoga and Brighton yoga classes we agreed on was the forceful and military approach to bikram classes where you are almost shouted orders of pushing your body as far as it will go and forcing everything constantly - its a common dilemma of the western world to always be striving or looking for the next thing, constantly living in a state of slight stress and anxiety as you are not settled in the reality of the present moment. Brighton yoga classes offer a remedy to this by creating space for you to switch off the thinking mind, calm your nervous system down and feel connected with yourself and the universe. Brighton yoga classes help to create a balanced and calming energy that will have positive effects on other areas of your life. Brighton yoga classes can offer you the opportunity to feel peaceful and content which can be a challenge for many.
